The State Election Commission annulled the voting at several polling stations because there were more ballots in the ballot boxes than the number of voters in the polling station. Out of six complaints, the voting was annulled in three polling stations, two in Kavadarci and one in Kumanovo. The SEC also passed a decision to dismiss the polling boards in these places.
Training sessions were conducted that lasted for a month, but obviously, the procedures are not respected and some people did work professionally. I urge the polling boards to be more careful, said SEC member, Janake Vitanovski.
All committee members agreed that the blame is not on the whole electoral boards but in individuals, but it will still require responsibility and dismissal of the entire board that was on the shift on the election day at the indicated polling stations.
