Fed up with improperly parked cars in Skopje, popular DJ Kostadin Shurbanovski declared a private war on the bad drivers. He printed out signs declaring the drivers “seljak” – a rude term that translates as a man who does not know how to function in an urban city, and began to leave them on the windshields.
There is no point waiting on the police. I’m starting my guerrilla action, Shurbe said.
Skopje is notorious for its difficult access to parking that often forces pedestrians to walk on the streets.
