The Council of Public Prosecutors confirmed on Monday the termination of the Special Prosecutor’s Office’s term following the dismissal of SPO head Katica Janeva on Saturday.

Lile Stefanova’s term at the Public Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime and Corruption is terminated since her four-year term ended on May 15, 2018, said Aco Kolevski, president of the Council of Public Prosecutors.

Kolevski pointed out that prosecutors Lence Ristoska, Fatime Fetai, Gavril Bubevski, Trajce Pelivanov and Artan Ajro should return to the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Skopje, Lile Stefanova in Radovis, Burim Rustemi and Ljubomir Lape in Kumanovo, Elizabeta Josifovska in Kicevo, Stevco Donev in Kocani.

As regards the SPO cases, Kolevski said that the public prosecutor will decide which prosecutor will handle which case.
