Supermarkets across Macedonia have begun postings signs instructing the customers where to stand while they wait to be served. The signs are meant to ensure respect for the minimum distance people should keep to avoid spreading the coronavirus to other shoppers.
There are reports of markets temporarily running low on some supplies such as toilet paper and pasta, and both employees and customers are showing signs of stress, but so far there have been no reported mass runs on products.
