An investigative reporting outfit claims that Angela Georgievska and Ali Furkan, the suspected killers of 26 year old Pineto Secondo, were stopped by the police just a few hours after his murder, but were let go by the officers who suspected nothing.
Secondo was killed in December, likely over a love triangle. Ali Furkan is suspected to have used a rifle to force Secondo into his car along with their shared love interest Georgievska, who initially lured Secondo. The two took Secondo to a northern suburb of Skopje where Furkan killed him. Furkan and Georgievska then buried Secondo at the outskirts of a village in the mountains north of Skopje, and the body was only found a month ago, leading to the subsequent arrest of Georgievska. Furkan presumably fled the country.
According to Telma TV’s Kod report, the two killers were using Secondo’s car to drive around the city and changed their clothes, during which they were stopped by the police in the city center. Secondo’s mother is revealing most of the details of the investigation online, after spending months asking the public to help find her missing son.
