The ratification of three more countries separates Macedonia from becoming a full-fledged NATO membership. Twenty-six countries, including the United States, have given the green light for the country to join the Alliance. It is soon to be done by France, the Netherlands, and Spain.
Iceland’s Parliament ratified our country’s NATO accession protocol on Thursday, which is the 26th ratification.
The French Senate passed last week the first reading of the bill ratifying Macedonia’s NATO Accession Protocol. The document remains to be ratified by the National Assembly in the second reading.
