Prime Minister Zoran Zaev should have his last working day today. After the New Year’s address of President Pendarovski, he should hand down his resignation he announced several times after the defeat in the local elections.
His last visit was to Albania yesterday at the Open Balkans initiative.
He said that it is not easy in the Balkans and in the EU, but that other countries should join.
We had measurable success. I congratulate you all for being part of this process. We made a great job. It’s not easy right now in the EU or in the Balkans, but we did it. This is an authentic initiative to which we invite all the countries from the region. The Open Balkans unites us and for me it is a proof of great friendship. The Balkans are open for the good of all people, Zaev said.
