Twenty-eight patients succumbed to Covid-19 over the past 24 hours, the Healthcare Ministry informed. The youngest was 45 and the oldest 83. There were seven deaths reported in Skopje and five in Prilep. This brings the total death toll of the epidemic to 1,977.

The Ministry also reported 1,120 newly diagnosed patients, out of nearly 3,000 tests. Skopje has 507 new cases, followed by Kumanovo (60), Gostivar (56), Prilep (52) and Ohrid (49). There are currently 21,584 active cases – about half of them in Skopje. Tetovo, Prilep, Bitola and Gostivar have at or near 1,000 cases each.
