Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said Thursday at a press conference that the talks on renaming the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts – MANU are proceeding well.

The renaming will happen, says Zaev, adding that MANU should decide whether it will be the National Academy of Sciences and Arts or the Academy of Sciences and Arts of the Republic of North Macedonia.

Prime Minister Zaev said that it is very important how the academy is registered all over the world that friends from Greece do not dispute it.

I believe that things are moving in a positive direction, said Zaev among other things.

He stressed that the implementation of the government’s decision to rename 136 state institutions is in progress.
