The European People’s Party ahead of the EU elections held a meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly in Brussels, where the general strategic guideline for the EU elections and the future action of the EPP were adopted.

The Political Assembly also discussed the relations with the member of the EPP, Hungary’s Fidesz. The EPP reached a compromise that was accepted by consensus that the EPP-led Commission headed by Herman van Rompuy should monitor the implementation of the EPP’s remarks and establish the facts.
