The proposal of VMRO-DPMNE for procurement of fingerprint terminals for the census is being considered, government’s spokesperson, Muamet Hoxha said on Sunday.

Hoxha stressed at a press conference that the conduct of the census is in the interest of all and it must not be delayed anymore. The census is a statistical operation and not a political one.

It is being considered by the competent institutions, but we want to remind that the conduct of the census is in the interest of all. The state should know the key statistical data and this is an operation that we must not delay anymore because its organization is for the common good, he said.
