Voting in the second round of the seventh local elections since the country’s independence began at 7am. Voting runs fast, with no problems and without delays.

Unlike the first round, when there were 4 ballots in Skopje, now it is 1, except in Karpos and Centar, where there are 2 ballots each, and throughout Macedonia there is 1 ballot.

Voting the second round of local elections is held Sunday in 44 municipalities. A total of 1,353,990 voters are eligible to vote at 2,481 polling stations. There will be a re-vote for mayor and council at a polling station in Debar, and a re-vote a at polling station in Suto Orizari for council members. The Administrative Court annulled the voting at these two polling stations for the first round of local elections that took place on October 17.

For the first time in the local elections, fingerprint devices are applied, and the general measures for protection against Covid-19 will be observed.
