Out of 2,347 COVID-19 tests carried out in Macedonia in the past 24 hours, 657 new cases were registered, 920 patients have recovered and 31 passed away, the Health Ministry said on Thursday.
New cases were registered in: Skopje-323, Kumanovo-23, Stip-8, Prilep-38, Tetovo-19, Struga-15, Veles-22, Bitola-36, Ohrid-28, Kavadarci-25, Gostivar-17, Gevgelija-6, Strumica- 13, Kriva Palanka-6, Radovish-10, Kocani-12, Probistip-4, Makedonski Brod-4, Pehcevo-1, Berovo-7, Valandovo-5, Vinica-2, Delcevo-7, Kratovo-1, Sveti Nikole -4, Kicevo-5, Resen-5, Negotino-11.
31 people died, including ten patients from Skopje (aged 93, 79, 73, 76, 69, 40, 84, 70, 61, and 88), three from Kumanovo (57, 74 and 81), one from Debar (81), five from Prilep (55, 58, 78, 70 and 56), two from Tetovo (59 and 81), one patient from Struga (75), one from Ohrid (47), one from Kavadarci (51), three from Gostivar ( 60, 75 and 68), two from Strumica (72 and 83), one from Krusevo (76) and one patient from Delcevo (65).
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 76,251 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 52,413 people have recovered. The death toll stands at 2,225. At the moment, there are 21,613 active cases across the country.
