A year ago Zoran Zaev promised new investments totalling 5 billion EUR. Instead, all he delivered was debt, said opposition leader Hristijan Mickoski.
A year after the promise the results are in. Two billion EUR deeper in debt. Each family 4,000 EUR in additional debt. Industrial production is down 12.1 percent and the number of manufacturing workers is down 4.7 percent. All that money is spent and noting to show for it. Zaev promised investments from Google and Facebook, five unnamed investments in September, work for Eurokompozit and Kolska and 700 kilometers of highways. Nothing came of it, Mickoski said.
