Bekim Sali is the proposal for a new Minister of Health from Alternative as part of the Government. This was confirmed by the outgoing Prime Minister Zoran Zaev. This means that Minister Venko Filipce will be removed from office, although on several occasions, Zaev did not accept that to happen, pointing out that he is important for dealing with the coronavirus crisis.

Bekim Sali is married and father of three girls. Dentist by profession, he has his own practice and textile business. In the race for mayor of Cair in the local elections he was nominated by the Coalition Alliance of Albanians and Alternative with the support of VMRO-DPMNE. He lost the election.
