Prime Minister Zoran Zaev will not attend the inauguration of Stevo Pendarovski as President. Zaev is on a vacation in Bulgaria and opted not to come back to Skopje, but merely send Pendarovski a note of congratulations.
Today our country gains a President – that is our Stevo Pendarovski, a leader ho joins us in leading the country forward, to a joint destination which will make North Macedonia a good place to live in. Today Pendarovski takes over the duty to be a President of all citizens, above partisan lines, to fight for law and justice and to represent the country across the world, Zaev wrote in his message to Pendarovski.
