Deputy Prime Minister Koco Angusev name was linked with a series of corruption scandals in the past two years, as his companies won public contracts and one was sold to a Greek state owned company in the midst of the name talks. Asked during a press event today, Angusev insisted that he is prepared to leave his post if Zoran Zaev asks him to, as part of the on-going purge.
It is an honor to be a member of the Government but all who have a political office should be aware they will leave it one day and that is nothing to feel tragic about. I’m personally relaxed on this matter, Angusev said.
Angusev is currently under investigation by the Anti-Corruption Commission.
