US officials have given Israel till the end of the year to cease its attacks on Gaza, according to an article published on the American news portal “Politico”. Politico writes, “Joe Biden’s administration has given Israel until the end of the year to end attacks on Gaza.” It cites three unidentified Israeli officials.

It is said that US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken brought attention to this deadline on his November 30 visit to Tel Aviv. As per the Wall Street Journal, Blinken evaluated the Israeli military cabinet during the visit and said that “the attacks should end in weeks, not months.”

According to reports, Blinken was informed by Israeli authorities of their “monthly plans” for attacks in Gaza. Blinken was said to have responded, “you don’t have that much credit.
