The Wizz Air Skopje 2019 marathon takes place tomorrow with 12.000 runners from 58 countries expected to participate.

This is the 15th annual marathon in the Macedonian capital. Three main races are planned – a full marathon in two laps, a semi-marathon and a 5.000 meters race.

Traffic restrictions will be in place in downtown Skopje beginning with Friday evening and all through Saturday. Along with the presidential elections on Sunday and the papal visit on Tuesday, the capital is overflowing with visitors and traffic restrictions are expected to continue well into next week.
