The Ministry of Culture on Monday will be reviewing the submissions rejected in its 2019 annual open call for funding cultural projects of national interest.

Minister of Culture Asaf Ademi said on Sunday all entries the public has raised questions about will be reopened and reconsidered.

Should any of the rejected entries meet the Ministry’s requirements, he said, the projects will be financed.

The review comes amid widespread public criticism of the Ministry’s 2019 open call results, which were published Friday.
