New Year, New Beginning is the title of the last concert of 2020 planned by the Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra. The concert is scheduled for Thursday evening, and will feature a blend of classics and jazz, conducted by Dzijan Emin. John Ilija Apelgren, Sarah Mace, Dejan Bobic, Polina Taseva and Kalina Velkovska will perform as solo artists.

We hope that this will begin a new and better chapter in our lives. Traditionally the New Year concert is meant to bring a positive note in our lives, more optimism, so we can breathe freely again. Life would have no point without music and that is why we didn’t stop preparing and working, we held a number of concerts and had great feedback, said director Tina Ivanova.
