Five cases of H1N1 swine flu were reported in Strumica, among the 80 cases of flu which are registered daily.

Patients are checked for swine flu randomly, so it is possible that there are other, additional cases among the nearly 500 citizens who have caught the flu. Patients complain of muscle and joint pain, fever and fatigue. Some of the patients also have pneumonia. Between 20 and 25 patients are kept in the Strumica hospital, said doctor Liljana Maninska.
