The State Election Commission (SEC) closed the Voters’ List at a session on Friday. 1,808,131 voters are eligible to vote in the sixth presidential election.
The candidate who receives the majority of votes from the voters, if the turnout is more than 40%, shall be elected president.
The SEC should sign the closed Voters’ List 15 days before the election day, ie by April 5 at the latest.
On Sunday afternoon in the premises of the SEC, the three presidential candidates – Blerim Reka, Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova and Stevo Pendarovski – are to sign a code of fair and democratic elections.
