Out of 3,353 COVID-19 tests carried out in Macedonia in the past 24 hours, 1,168 new cases were registered, the Health Ministry said on Saturday.

New cases were registered in Skopje 513, Kumanovo 68, Debar 6, Stip 27, Prilep 77, Tetovo 65, Struga 40, Veles 36, Bitola 58, Ohrid 25, Kavadarci 29, Gostivar 30, Gevgelija 5, Strumica 33, Kriva Palanka 5, Radovis 7, Krusevo 3, Kocani 19, Probistip 1, Demir Hisar 1, Makednski Brod 3, Pehcevo 3, Berovo 3, Valandovo 6, Vinica 5, Delcevo 3, Kratovo 11, Sveti Nikole 33, Kicevo 42, Resen 4, Negotino 7.

18 people died, including five patients from Skopje (aged 61, 69, 67, 77 and 84), two from Kumanovo (aged 66 and 80), one patient from Stip (aged 54), one from Tetovo (aged 73), two from Bitola (aged 82 and 73), one from Ohrid (aged 84), four patients from Gostivar (aged 78, 76, 78 and 66), one from Strumica (aged 55) and one patient from Kratovo (aged 74). 

The Public Health Institute registered today 692 recovered patients from all over the country.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 46,062 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 26,981 people have recovered. The death toll stands at 1,281. At the moment, there are 17,800 active cases across the country.
