The Alliance of Albanians demands that the Albanian language becomes mandatory for all students.

According the to the opposition Albnaina party, the “Communication between the two main ethnic groups in the country must be such that they understand each other with no issues. This can only happen when the Albanian language is official in a manner that it deserves, without the obstacles laid before this idea by the Government and its DUI coalition partner”.

The AA party has also recently demanded major changes to the law on citizenship, that would make it exceptionally easy for ethnic Albanians from Kosovo and other countries to claim dual citizenship in Macedonia.
