Education and Science Minister Arber Ademi said he condemns any deviant behavior of students in and out of schools. Regarding the images of violent behavior of students they uploaded to Instagram and which were spread on social networks last week, Ademi said today that pedagogical and possibly punitive measures should follow for those students.

That is not the purpose of the educational process. I am disgusted by the videos that have been shared on social networks and I am sure that both the students and their parents are uncomfortable or should feel uncomfortable. Of course, these students should face pedagogical measures, and possibly punitive measures, Ademi said after the launch of the new EU program – European Solidarity Corps.

He pointed out that the first tool to deal with students’ deviant behavior is the professional services of schools, that the Education Ministry is not in charge of determining what the sanctions should be, but that it can assist with support or counseling.
