Former Prime Minister and SDSM party leader Vlado Buckovski, who was named by Zoran Zaev as his envoy for the Bulgarian crisis, arrives in Sofia tomorrow. Buckovski will hold meetings with all top Bulgarian leaders, to discuss the now official veto which blocks Macedonia from opening EU accession talks.

Bulgaria demands major concessions on issues of national identity and history before it will consider lifting the veto.

Buckovski will meet Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva and hold a joint press conference. Buckovski will also meet with Prime Minister Boyko Borisov and the hard-line Defense Minister Krasimir Karakacanov. On Thursday he will also meet with President Rumen Radev.
