Bulgarian member of the European Parliament Angel Dzhambazki accused the new Government of Kiril Petkov that ti is undermining the hardline position he inherited on Macedonia.
This position rests on the fundamental fact that Macedonia is Bulgaria, it is the second Bulgarian state in the Balkans, which we in our party keep pointing out, said Dzhambazki, from the nationalist VMRO-BND party.
Petkov announced that he will seek several other venues of talks with Macedonia, on infrastructure, culture and economy, besides the existing negotiations on history, and that after six months he may review the position to veto Macedonia from opening EU accession talks.
