The Kumanovo terrorist group continues to threaten the opposition VMRO-DPMNE party. After two of its commanders sent out threats from the prison where they are serving life sentences, and which they apparently control, a third commander in the group, Dem Shehu, sent out a message to VMRO leader Hristijan Mickoski.

The liberators from the Kumanovo group did not bow their heads in the courts when we were handed life sentences. On the contrary, in the spiritual capital of the Albanians, of Dardanian Skopje, we all sang our national anthem. We sang for Albania and its heroes. We are proud because we were able to bring down the anti-Albanian empire led by the VMRO-DPMNE terrorist organizations, Shehu wrote in his message aimed at Mickoski.

His group of Albanian terrorists killed eight Macedonian officers in the bloody battle in May 2015, when it briefly fortified itself in houses in the city of Kumanovo, and planned to perpetrate terror attacks. It’s members beat up two former VMRO officials, Mile Janakieski and Spiro Ristovski, who were detained on politically motivated charges last week.

Claiming that it their action brought down the Nikola Gruevski and VMRO-DPMNE led Government is a reccuring theme in their threats. The attack happened months into the political crisis sparked by Zoran Zaev and his SDSM party, which revealed that the Macedonian security services are conspiring to bring down VMRO, and apparently enjoy support from international circles.
