Out of 2,930 COVID-19 tests carried out in Macedonia in the past 24 hours, 977 new cases were registered, 843 patients have recovered and 31 passed away, the Health Ministry said on Tuesday.

New cases were registered in Skopje-503, Kumanovo-55, Debar-1, Stip-14, Prilep-45, Tetovo-40, Struga-32, Veles-29, Bitola-67, Ohrid-40, Kavadarci-15, Gostivar-22, Gevgelija- 10, Strumica-11, Kriva Palanka-12, Radovis-6, Krusevo-4, Kocani-3, Probistip-3, Demir Hisar-4, Berovo-1, Valandovo-1, Vinica-5, Delcevo-3, Sveti Nikole -13, Kicevo-14, Resen-2, Negotino-22.

31 people died, including seven patients from Skopje (aged 74, 78, 82, 51, 38, 60 and 64), two from Kumanovo (aged 76 and 67), one from Debar (aged 71), two from Stip (aged 62 and 67), two from Prilep (aged 78 and 78), two from Tetovo (aged 72 and 76), two from Veles (aged 78 and 78), four patients from Bitola (aged 71, 87, 44 and 67), three from Ohrid (aged 65, 78 and 78) ), one patient from Kavadarci (aged 72), one from Gevgelija (aged 56), three from Kicevo (aged 47, 68 and 53) and one patient from Negotino (aged 74).

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 48,613 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 28,646 people have recovered. The death toll stands at 1,376. At the moment, there are 18,591 active cases across the country.
