As of Monday, elementary school pupils and preschoolers will have the opportunity to watch educational content on the three channels of the national broadcaster MRT, derived from the curricula at which they are currently being educated in schools and kindergartens, which are temporarily closed by a government decision as part of public health protection measures against the spread of the coronavirus.

According to the Ministry of Education and Science, this is the solution that emerged from last week’s meeting in the Ministry of Education, which was attended by representatives of several institutions in the field of education, UNICEF, representatives of civil society organizations and representatives of the management of the Macedonian Radio and Television, organized in accordance with the Government’s conclusion to find an alternative way for the education of children to continue in the period until the formal educational process is temporarily suspended.
