As of today, 12 February 2019, the Final Agreement for settling the differences as described in United Nations Security Council Resolutions 817 (1993) and 845 (1993), the termination of the 1995 Interim Accord, and the establishment of a strategic partnership between the parties, which was duly published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Official Gazette, is entering into force, the government said Tuesday in a press release.

The conditions for the entry into force of amendments XXIIII, XXXIV, XXXV and XXXVI of the Constitution of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Constitutional Law for the implementation of the amendments from XXIII to XXXVI of the Constitution of the Republic of North Macedonia, which the Parliament of the Republic of North Macedonia adopted on January 11, 2019. They enter into force as of today, on February 12, 2019, which was duly published by the Government in the Official Gazette.

Thus, the performance of the obligations arising from the Final Agreement and the Constitutional amendments starts. The initial decisions regarding the necessary measures and activities for the fulfillment of the above obligations will be presented in a public announcement that will be published by the Inter-ministerial working group for the fulfillment of the obligations from the Final Agreement, the Government informed.
