Plusinfo unofficially finds out that Stefan Bogoev, now former mayor of the Skopje Municipality of Karpos, will succeed Ljupco Nikolovski to the position of Secretary General of SDSM.

Nikolovski confirmed for TV24 that as soon as the resignation of President Zoran Zaev takes effect, he will step down from his position in the party.

When the president resigns, the entire leadership steps down and that is not the most important thing. The most important thing at the moment is the democratic majority in the parliament and not to go back to the time of fear and revanchism, which we fought against, said Nikolovski.
