Macedonia and Bulgaria agreed to increase cooperation in green policies and the environment, during a meeting hosted by the Bulgarian Environment Ministry in Sofia.
Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister for the environment Borislav Sandov led the delegation that met with Macedonian Deputy Prime Minister for EU affairs Bojan Maricic.
Bulgaria is prepared to share its experience in implementing EU
legislation in the environment and we will support your accession process, Sandov said.
The meeting is part of the process whose goal is to improve relations between the two countries, as Bulgaria continues to block Macedonia’s EU accession talks.
