For Croatia we have become North Macedonians. Croatian news portal net.hr reporting on the incident between 6 Macedonian nationals working in the seaside town of Novigrad and one Croatian national said:

The incident involved a 48-year-old from Novigrad and six North Macedonians
Following the signing of the name agreement with Greece, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued instructions to the media on how to report about our country and our national identity. The fact is that there is chaos in the use of the new name and the new rules on citizenship.
