The church follows the course of social life in the country. If the economy goes in a certain direction, it is possible that the prices of the services provided by the church will increase. However, each diocese has the authority to make changes in financial operations and to have its own tariff, he explains.

According to the price list of the Skopje diocese, for example, baptism costs 4,000 denars, half of which is paid by the godfather and half by the parents of the child being baptized.

For a wedding with one priest, 6,000 denars are charged, and if the solemn act is performed by three priests, 7,000 denars are paid. The payment is divided into four parts, ie the godfather, the best man and the parents of the bride and groom.

The funeral service costs 3,000 denars.

The priests do not charge for services to the citizens from the socially endangered categories, as well as to those families that have more children.
