Macedonian Orthodox Church-Ohrid Archbishopric (MOC-OA) Pontiff, HH Stefan has extended the Easter message to the Orthodox faithful.
Easter joy should bring us closer and unite us all, as the children of our Mother Church, and us in the Fatherland, and all of you who live displaced around the world. No matter where we are, to live in peace and harmony with all people, keeping national and spiritual specifics as a nation, showing the necessary care for the sanctity of marriage and family, care for the elderly, the fragile and the poor, and especially for the youth and their upbringing in the spirit of the Orthodox faith and our ancestral traditions. As a nation we finally find a way for mutual reconciliation, so to forgive everything with the Resurrection. It is our holy duty as Christians for whoever does not love a brother – cannot love God?! Celebrating Christ’s Resurrection with all Christians in the world, to rejoice and cheer because of the victory over death, because of the faith in the universal resurrection and the hope of eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven. Let us rejoice because of the Resurrection of Christ and our resurrection, greeting ourselves with the peace-heralding words Christ is Risen! Truly, He is Risen!,” reads the Easter message.
