An open letter from representatives of firemen associations was distributed to the media outlets, condemning the Zaev regime for its policy on Bulgaria. The firemen associations join with the similar letter issued by officers and soldiers of the Macedonian Army yesterday.
We support the position of the servicemen of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia, who opted to stand in defense of Macedonian national interests and opposed to the negotiations the Government is conducting with the Bulgarian authorities over the basis of the Macedonian identity. We closely follow these developments and stand shoulder to shoulder with the army servicemen in defense of our national interests. We tell our political elites that we will not accept any compromise over our values and will consider it a hostile act toward the Macedonian state, the firemen say in their statement.
