Foreign residents in Macedonia will have their short term stay approvals or visas extended until August 31, the Government decreed yesterday.

The move is made in order to make it easier on legal aliens who remain in Macedonia to do so without having to go through the usual bureaucratic procedures. The decree applies to foreigners who already received residency permits or visas, but whose validity has expired during the coronavirus epidemic.
