Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani confirmed that the Government has selected six new ambassadors, but would not give names to the press during his briefing today. It was widely rumored that political cronies, like former Tetovo MayorTeuta Arifi (EU), Andrej Zernovski (Serbia) and Ljubomir Frkocski (UN) will be among the ambassadors.

I can’t give you the names. What I can say is that six candidates for ambassadors were approved by the Government. We expect that they are accepted by the host countries and then we will give their names, Osmani said.
