Greek media are reporting that a Greek man from Solun/Thesaloniki was attacked in downtown Athens yesterday evening because he was wearing a shirt with the title “Macedonian fighters”.

It’s not clear whether the man was referring to Macedonia the country or the region Aegean Macedonia in Greece. According to the reports, he was insulted and later punched. The man was with his wife and son when attacked and reportedly nobody wanted to come to his help.
The attackers later fled from the scene.
