A high level VMRO-DPMNE delegation is in Istanbul for a meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and other AK party officials. The party delegation includes deputy leaders Aleksandar Nikoloski and Vlado Misajlovski, and Secretary General Igor Janusev.\

The meeting was held to discuss the relations between Macedonia and Turkey. We agreed that they are good, with need for more growth in the economic exchange. VMRO-DPMNE plans to work strongly on bringing in more investments in Macedonia after the April 2020 elections, VMRO-DPMNE said in its press release.

On a party level, VMRO and AKP agreed to work to increase their level of cooperation, as two leading conservative parties in their respective countries.
