Prime Minister Zoran Zaev received a letter from the newly elected US President Joseph Biden thanking him for the congratulations on the occasion of his election.
According to the government, President-elect Joseph Biden, on his own behalf and on behalf of Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, thanked for the congratulations and said that he was taking office in the midst of extremely serious global challenges – from coronavirus to climate change – that go beyond national borders and for which international cooperation is needed.
In the letter, Biden writes that he expects intensive cooperation between him and Prime Minister Zaev on these and other issues of mutual interest for both nations.
