In a sarcastic comment, protest organizer and former political prisoner of the Zaev regime Bogdan Ilievski called out Bulgarian Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva for her hypocrisy regarding hateful comments between the two countries. Zaharieva reacted against a vile comment from journalist and Zaev regime official Zoran Ivanov aimed at her and at former Greek Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyannis, both of whom have vetoed Macedonia in its EU and NATO accessions.
Ilievski reminded Zaharieva about the angry comments coming from Bulgaria, from much higher Government officials, and are aimed at Macedonia, as well as about the Bulgarian refusal to own up in full for its role on the side of the Axis for the most part of the Second World War.
I’m very sad that you aree angry because someone cursed at you after you told him that he and his language do not exist. How can someone who doesn’t exist insult you? How can you be insulted in a non-existant language? But still, we understand that such paranormal occurrences cause you discomfort and we apologize for that. The world and our times have never known more wonderful people and neighbors that you – more than neighbors, our brothers, even more, one soul in two bodies and on three seas. We were touched by the hand of the Almighty to live next to one another… although things would’ve been clearer if we had the Tamil tigers as our neighbors, Ilievski writes.
He points to comments from Bulgarian Defense Minister Krasimir Karakacanov that the Macedonian nation and language are made up and derived from the Bulgarian, for which Ilievski says “the most beautiful, most original, pra-Bulgarian language through which the entire world and most of the Cosmos received their literacy… as Karakacanov tells us that we are a Serbo-Communist creation and that we don’t know what our grandfathers and great-grandfathers fought for, as your fake historic talking points are the only history we need and we must regurgitate them in order to become EU members”.
