Former Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva’s interrogation at the Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime and Corruption in relation to the “Racket” case lasted less than an hour.
Janeva, who is the third suspect in “Racket”, was taken with a police escort to the Prosecutor’s Office and then escorted back to the Skopje prison where she is being detained.
This is Janeva’s second testimony at the Public Prosecutor’s Office in relation to the “Racket” case, after she was interrogated as a witness on August 20 this year to be taken from her home in Skopje the following day, and the Public Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime and Corruption to report that it expanded the investigation into the case and sought 30-day detention for Janeva as a third suspect in the case.
Suspect Bojan Jovanovski was brought in for questioning at the prosecutor’s office on Monday. He was in the prosecution for an hour, but he refused to testify before the prosecutors.
