VMRO-DPMNE Secretary General Igor Janusev gave a cryptic response to the claim by outgoing Prime Minister Zoran Zaev that he had nothing to do with the major Racket case. In a social media comment, Janusev asked Zaev if a code means anything to him, and if he recalls the extent of his communication with disgraced Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva.
VMRO-DPMNE has long insisted that they have additional, still unreleased evidence about the major scandal which will be made public if state prosecutors continue to botch the case.
I have several questions NSKRO 74/17 – USB. Remember this Mr. Zaev? Also, can you say which Government member tipped off Bojan Jovanovski (Boki 13) that he was reported with racketeering? And finally, do you remember your own communication with Katica Janeva? You better, because the phone is kept safe, Janusev said, without elaborating further.
Earlier today, in an interview with Radio Free Europe, Zaev insisted that he had nothing to do with the racketeering scandal. Zaev cited the fact that the prosecutors, who are seen as completely loyal to him, haven’t charged him yet as evidence that he was not involved with the extortion perpetrated by his close ally Katica Janeva.
