Kiril Kolemisevski, Elizabeta Naumovska and Nedzad Mehmedovic are new deputy ministers in the government after lawmakers voted this afternoon at the 110th session that began yesterday.
Kolemisevski was elected deputy economy minister with 62 votes in favor and 13 against. Naumovska was elected deputy minister of education and science with 63 votes in favor and 15 against, and Mehmedovic, who will be deputy minister in the new Ministry of Political System and Inter-Community Relations, was elected with 61 votes in favor and 13 against.
In the debate, opposition lawmakers had no objections to the biographies of the nominees for deputies, but said they did not have the necessary experience for the departments in which they would be responsible. They did not criticize personal solutions, but were sharp in their criticism of the departments they were appointed to – education and the economy.
