Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski, joined by Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Bytyqi and Defence Minister Slavjanka Petrovska, announced during a visit to Makedonski Brod’s ATS AMMO factory that it would soon initiate production of the inaugural Macedonian drone. Kovachevski highlighted the forthcoming serial production of four drone types, emphasizing their AI control and precision, fully compliant with NATO standards. This marks a milestone as the first drones exclusively manufactured within Macedonia.

These drones, Kovachevski mentioned, will serve diverse purposes spanning defense, reconnaissance, and industrial applications, as highlighted by Defence Minister Slavjanka Petrovska, who emphasized the significance of this achievement.

Moreover, the announcement highlighted that presently, 40 Macedonian firms align with NATO production standards.
