EU prosecutor Laura Kovesi will be placed in charge of overseeing crime and corruption levels in the Balkans.

Kovesi is best known in Macedonia as close friend of now disgraced Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva. Kovesi would often come to meet with Janeva, while Janeva was engaged in a politically motivated campaign of persecution.
