The Committee on European Affairs discussed Thursday the proposed law on the public prosecution that should also address the future status of the SPO in an expedited procedure.
Chairman Committee Artan Grubi opened and closed the public debate on law on the public prosecution to give room to lawmakers and Justice Minister Renata Deskoska -Treneska to align their views on over 50 amendments.
According to the government, if a two-thirds majority is not secured, then other options are in place, one of which is the Amendment to the Law on the Council of Public Prosecutors, passed with 61 votes.
